    Please Vote!    -    November 4 Is Election Day,     6 am - 7 pm

    Your vote is important not only for Town Council, but for Blacksburg’s Mayor, House of Delegates, Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General. Early voting began on September 19 and runs through November 1; vote at the Registrar’s Office at 1546 N Franklin Street in Christiansburg. Don’t forget Election Day is Tuesday, November 4.

    Democracy on the Ballot: Panel Discussion and Tabling on September 27

    Democracy Is on the Ballot: “A Critical Election in Virginia: Issues and Concerns” will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation on Saturday, September 27, from 10 am to noon and is sponsored by Defending Democracy. Please stop by Susan’s campaign table at this event.

    Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction

    Our Anderson for Council campaign has been awarded the 2025 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction. This means that I am an advocate for gun violence prevention and will govern with gun safety in mind.

    The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County and the local branch of the NAACP hosted a candidates forum on August 28 in the Municipal Building at 300 South Main Street in Blacksburg.     Susan volunteered all day each day at the Steppin’ Out T-shirt booth. She enjoyed saying “Hi” and selling shirts to festival attendees.
